DUCA DI SALAPARUTA
The Duca di Salaparuta Group brings together three historical brands that represent Sicily and Italy in the world: Corvo and Duca di Salaparuta, born in 1824, and Florio born in 1833. Brought together into a single entity by the Reina family, the three wineries now constitute the first private wine group on the island and tell the story of its traditions, territories and oenology.
Corvo has represented oenological Sicily since 1824 and narrates its heterogeneity through quality wines. Corvo wines, which celebrate 200 vintages in 2024, accompany the everyday life, moments of relaxation and those of fun of wine lovers, bringing the Sicilian lifestyle all over the world.
Duca di Salaparuta wines, with their unmistakable style and attention to detail, are born from a continuous search for innovation and a deep connection with Sicily. A terroir that is not only oenological but also cultural, which Duca di Salaparuta chooses to present through its labels and through a project to enhance the artistic heritage of the coastal strip that embraces Bagheria, where the Duca di Salaparuta wineries live.
Finally, unique and original, the world of Marsala Florio conquers with its bright Mediterranean suggestions, its fascinating history and the thousand souls and geographies of this intimately Sicilian wine. Cantine Florio in Marsala, founded in 1833 by Vincenzo Florio, overlooks the sea of western Sicily. Enveloped by the energy of the winds, made savory by the sea, the Cellars welcome, beautiful and silent, the oak barrels where Florio’s Marsalas age in seemingly motionless movement.
Hundreds of barrels, vats and caratelli, each with its own story, breathe the sea through the tufa floor, into the high aisles where scents and architecture merge.
